Our export blueberry and pear farm, Palmietvlei, (is home to The Riverstone House, Riverstone’s Famtin and Riverstone’s Couplespod) is a working farm just outside Wolseley, adhering to the highest international production standards. Enjoy watching and learning about the seasonal rhythms of farmlife. We are ideally located to explore award-winning wine estates, as we are situated between the Breedekloof, Slanghoek, Wolseley and Tulbagh wine routes. In the neighbouring area, you can visit quaint farmstalls, amazing restaurants, gorgeous wedding venues and olive farms, and you will experience warm hospitality and generosity. We offer three unique self catering accommodation options in Wolseley, only 1 hour and 20 mins from Cape Town.

The Riverstone House
Our original offering, RSH, is a magnificent 10 sleeper Country House. Previously nestled in a pear orchard, it now sits snugly amongst our graceful export blueberries. On the banks of the seasonal Bree River, Riverstone House has gorgeous sunset views from a manicured garden. With bounds of grass for the kids or dogs, it has the makings of an ideal country getaway. 4 spacious rooms, 2 being twins and 2 doubles, we also have a daybed in each twin room for a 9th and 10th guest. The space is large enough to absorb a big group comfortably, still allowing for quiet little nooks for each person. Boasting 2 full bathrooms, each with double vanities, our 350sqm house is ideal for any event. The house is rented exclusively per group – if you’re looking for a romantic getaway for 2; RSH is all yours. Family of 10? You will be just as comfortable.

Riverstone's FamTin
FamTin, launched Feb 2018, is a super modern and trendy double container conversion. An eco, quirky conversion for those wanting to experience something unique. Enjoy a cool contemporary space, furnished with high end pieces, luxurious fabrics, indulgent scatter cushions and décor. Floorplan includes two ensuite rooms in each wing of the conversion, sleeping 4 guests in total. You will enjoy inside and outside dining space, and a deep covered patio with built in BBQ. With a prime position on our farm dam, the views are of the best in the Valley. The Mostertshoek mountain peak shows off in the evening with spectacular sunset vistas, and the uninterrupted views will keep you spellbound. A romantic private outdoor shower allows stargazing in the evening, and the Victorian slipper bath adds elegance to any visit.

CouplesPod
Launched late 2020, Couplespod is the highest end unit on the farm. Snugly positioned in the corner of the farm dam, this one bedroom unit is a divine hideaway for two guests. Featuring a private, over-sized outside bath for stargazing, and a double shower, we had romance and indulgence in mind when planning this space. Window benches afford uninterrupted views of the stunning Mostertshoek mountain range, and provide comfortable space for hours of day-dreaming. Dine inside at the custom made wooden bar counter, or at your long table on the sheltered and undercover patio. Boasting an inside fireplace, and a great outside BBQ, you are set for long summer evenings or chilly winter nights. Couplespod offers all the conveniences, such as a dishwasher and full Smeg oven and stove, and topped off with some spoils, like a Nespresso and Nutribullet. We encourage you to treat yourself to a visit – you deserve it!

Apple Camp
Our secluded apple farm in Ceres had the perfect spot for a private camping space, and we had to share it with you! Nestled on the bank of a perennial river, with the gorgeous Ceres mountains as a backdrop, the scenery is guaranteed to astound! Introducing AppleCamp_Ceres. Our single booking, exclusive use campsite. Booked out to only one party at a time, regardless if you are 2 or 20 pax. Our fully grassed, and shaded site has an amenity block with plug point, including a single hot water shower, loo and basin. The game changer is the kitchen prep area, with a fridge, basin, and drying up surface. This added luxury makes unpacking and settling in so easy! This site is proudly pet friendly too.
